I'm creating this topic in reaction to the notion that blind people are not as fun as sighted people. So, what makes you a fun person? And, perhaps on a side note, what might be the wildest thing you've ever done in your life, if you feel OK to post it? No, I do not claim to be wild at all. I'm so hippie and laid-back I might bore half of you here, although people do seem to like my sense of humor which I try to use often as I can, so that might make me fun. But no, I'm not a wildman or an intensity junkie or whatever you'd call it. But maybe some of you are. So, shall we have some stories, and I hope they're true ones.
I've always had the ability to make people laugh, and people seem to like hanging out with me. Well, at least they did when I still had a job and a lot more social interactions than I do now.
I don't think I want to talk about wild things I've done. I'd share this with people I know well but not on a message board like this. Let's just say I've done some things in public that shouldn't necessarily be done in public. LOL
Now if you want to ask about most embarrassing things...I'd have to say drinking way too much and getting sick all over the table and myself at a club.
Sounds like my kind of night of fun. hahaha. But seriously, I'm not as wild as they come, but I definitely can get wild and crazy sometimes. I'm decent to those I've just met, but it takes me quite awhile to really open up. But I definitely have a free spirit. If you do, too, then you would most likely consider me a fun person. If not, I'm probably the last person you'd want to hang out with.
I'd have to ask other people to find out why they think I'm a fun person. They'd probably look at me like I was weird, since I typically don't ask those types of questions, and wonder what I was up to.
Guess I generally try and lighten the mood, see something funny in a situation. And, I'm always up for a good time.
This probably doesn't rank terribly wild in some people's minds, but I did jump off the roof of a friend's house, over 5 feet of concrete, into the swimming pool.
I always enjoy a good adrenaline rush, though I don't do some of the tings I used to anymore.
For all of the off-the-wall misperceptions people have about the photon-deprived, I have never heard anyone say the blind were supposedly less fun. Is that something you've run into as a running theme with some people, or was it a one-time incident? Strange.
hmmm... I would say I'm a fun person because I'm generally happy, enjoy laughter, and like to offer support and encouragement to others whenever I can. I also try not to be critical of others, because we all make mistakes, and we all have different backgrounds and experiences.
Can't really think of wild things I've done at the moment, guess I'm kind of a boring person lol... but if I think of anything maybe I'll post it.
This is what I've heard from other people. I could have a neverending conversation with you, about any damn thing. With every person I create a world where only we exist doing all kinds of crazy shit. For example, when I was little I'd get on the phone and role play with my friends making up characters, and that would be our special inside fun. I'm usually the, or one of the lives of the party, and my strange isms are contagious to the point where staff members are saying my nonsense.
Wild and crazy? Well I don't know about that but I will tell you this. The side of me that wants to fit in wants the good old American dream of being hard working, building a family, while the other side believes in nakedness, open relationships, no work, all play and party all the time, which I wrelish when the time is write. I've smoked weed before, even broken a few laws though no consequences or harm resulted from it. I'll try almost anything once just to see how it is and I'm generally down for whatever.

I like being funny. and i also enjoy a good card game like war. a>d also i've played strip- proker.
but that was in my high school camp/ days. guess that was wiled ennuff.
but besides that i'm generally a cool chick.

well, yeah, I agree with leo I don't actually know. You'd have to ask blind people who stick to me better then superglue, and some certain sighted people too. I guess I am fun or a best friend or cool person, because I am forward, I guess, have a bit of a soft side and end up doing a million favors on my own will some of which unasked for, I help out a lot, and I am a bit of a conversationist, I could stand outside this neighbors yard and talk for 3 hours we did that and we didn't intend to talk at all, I just passed, and, I have done nine hour skype calls, or more I think my longest was something like 10 or 11 hours. but we talk about everything under the sun, no we don't roleplay like the other poster but we just talk from anything from how to eat marshmallows or from talking about someone's day or life, to aerospace or how fire was invented. and, it usually ain't random, one thing leads to the rest and we usually ask ourselves, so what exactly did we talk about? and, we usually say something like we don't actually know everything! hahaha! but actually I don't know why I am so fun, that was just a guess. and, if I ask, likewise like leo, they'd all just stare at me, and thought I went luny because we don't usually talk about why we're fun. I am a geek in many ways, though a lot of people in real life don't think so. hahaha! well, that's because I can talk a lot I guess.
As to wild, I have no idea. I have done a lot of silly things and we all have our laughs, but to say seriously wild? I don't actually know. I tstill think that 12 hour skype call was pretty damn crazy.
